Dear all,
I am a part-time doctoral student at the University of Bradford School of Management. For my research I want to focus on SAP HANA and In-Memory Business Data Management. It is a Doctor of Business Administration (DBA) program and different from a traditional PhD.
Our focus is on the practical implications combined with theory. So, it is a practical doctorate and should focus on real life problems or topis.
At the end of the day there must be a "contribution" to management or real world.
I am very interested in SAP HANA and therefore looking for companies I could work with in order to write my thesis. Data collection is very essential for such research activities. Currently I am employed as a Head of IT for an Services and Consulting company in Munich/Germany. Unfortunately we are not having SAP within our portfolio and it would me take ages to develop a sound customer base in this area.
The best combination would be to work on a daily basis with SAP HANA and do the research in parallel (evenings/weekends) - that's the reason for a part time doctorate. I am working full time and want to keep working.
Is there any way how I can get access to SAP HANA (companies, business cases, etc.) and work on my research paper? I am really interested in SAP HANA, want to do my research in this area and work in this field for the next years.
I am open to any tips and suggestions.
Thanks a lot.
Best regards,
