Can the system have more than one workspace ? Can one workspace have more than one package ?

I have created a project and shared to workspace1 pckg_name package (It was the only package present at that time) and created simple OData services using "_SYS_BI" and "BIMC_VARIABLE" table from it.
My XS service is up an running in 8000 port number and I was able to see the metadata in this port when I run this service.
service namespace "pckg_name.Sample.services" {
"_SYS_BI"."BIMC_VARIABLE"
as "BUSINESSPARTNER";
}
I haven’t done any changes and after 2days I found that my OData service says url not found.
I was not able to find what went wrong with the project but realized that there are two more packages added to the workspace..
I checked with the xs service in port 8000..Its running fine and I haven’t made any changes…Can you please suggest me what might have went wrong…? I suppose this is because of more than one package in workspace.. I have also gone through the video regarding consuming OData services by Thomas Jung wherein it was told that namespace isn’t meant to be the exact kind of package path…Can anyone please suggest me ?
