A no-brainer for many of you out there, but I need to be 100% certain of the technique.
We have created multiple HDBTABLEs and HDBSCHEMAs which we don't really need any more. However we have already moved them to QAS. We are using HALM for transport movement and now I want to know how to consistently delete/drop them in all systems. I speak of HDBTABLEs and not HDBDD tables. These are the older ones.
I tried clearing out the content of the files in my project and activating them. But I got some error about the content being empty. Do I instead just delete the files? Will this cause the table to be dropped? I know I shouldn't be doing anything in the CATALOG directly.
Is there a technique for dropping HDBSCHEMAs in a similar fashion?
