After we moved to SPS7 / Rev 70+ a few months back we noticed the 'Execute In: SQL Engine' check box had disappeared from the Semantics Summary.
After a small amount of digging about, at the time, one of my colleagues found it hidden in the detail properties:
I guess that might have been documented in the fine print of the Release notes.
I've not tried SPS8 yet so not sure if it has returned to the summary properties. Has anyone tried?
With ECC replicated tables we make use of this option a lot, It's also used extensively by the HANA Live content.
I wonder if SAP are now trying to discourage its use?
Does anyone have an opinion?
